More Adventure

So I ended up going with my family to Universal Studios (the real one).

As we drove there, signs were everywhere that we weren't supposed to use this particular way to park. I mean there was everything from road blocks to the ticket things all being red and blocked (except for one side which was not red or blocked. I think it was for those cars that have anual passes or something) and another set of road blocks (on the other side were cars getting into the parking structure using a different enterance). It was pretty embarrassing.

So we get into the park and it's about 9:15, the park closes at 10:00. We have one mission: to ride The Mummy ride. We find it and ride it, once. It was pretty cool, though I must say I was disappointed sometimes only because I was used to upsidedown rollercoasters as opposed to nonupsidedown rollercoasters. Anyway, we get off and see that we can go again. So we do. And we were one of the last rides of the night! Let me say that the second time was way better. Also, I was in the front, which was way better than in the 3rd row. So overall, the Mummy ride is pretty neat. I enjoyed it and am planning on riding again tomorrow. I'm thinking, however, that the guy next to me the second time probably thought I wasn't having fun, since I wasn't screaming. This is untrue. I wan't screaming because I really have no voice left. It hurts to swallow, let alone talk. So tomorrow I think I'll try to talk as little as possible. That'll be fun, since I've never been to Universal Studios. But oh well. We'll see what happens.

I'm glad I went tonight, though I'll probably pay tomorrow.

No voice = no singing = no wicked. I seriously thought of you while listening to the soundtrack, both about how you probably know all the words to every song, and also about how the duets would be really fun to do with you. I also thought of you when I went to the Library and borrowed the Aida soundtrack. I didn't listen very long because I was dissapointed. I liked the music better when you sang it. I'm not even kidding. So, we'll see if I ever listen to that CD again. Come home so we can sing together.
