Traveling Troubles

JULY 3
So Brooke and I almost killed each other today. We were talking about Disney stuff (usually enjoyable) but when we got to food in Epcot, I made the mistake of saying we should be eating at the French restaurant instead of the American restaurant. Anyway, Mom then asked why we weren't and I said it was because brooke didn't want to. She denied it, but it's so true. She didn't want to eat french food. So instead we're eating at an American place. Anyway, she then said it wasn't all her fault that the only foreign food were eating is Chinese while we're in Epcot. But it is. We're eating at a steak house because we're being nice to Dad and it has hamburgers. We're eating at the Coral reef place because we want to and it has hambugers. We're eating at an American place because it has hamburgers. And we're eating Chinese because it's the only foreign food she'll eat. See my point? Anyway, I got pretty riled and when I had just cooled off, she brought it up again. But oh well. We're not changing it, and I'll live.

On another note, we went to Pikes Peak today. Well, we started to go but then it was too expensive and we still had 12 hours to drive. Instead we went to a place near Pikes Peak called Santa's Workshop. It was a little amusement park. We didn't do much, except buy postcards. It was probably for the better. We ended up at our hotel at 10:30 two hours a head of Hillsboro time. We got here a lot sooner than planned. We enjoyed that.

Jennifer, I called your phone, but you didn't answer. Soo I did remember to call. And my cell phone is weird because sometimes we get coverage and sometimes we don't so, calling muight be an issue. That goes for anyone who decides to call.

As for when I get back, I don't know. I think it's around August 7 or 8.

Tomorrow's adventure involves traveling to Wisconsin, hopefully by 4:00 so we can have dinner and fireworks with one of Mom's friends. Well, goodnight for now!
