Early Morning Practice

This morning we had an informal practice. I got there at about 8:00 and Maia was the only one there. Shortly after, Nathan showed up. Finally, by 8:15 most of the cast was there, minus Josh, Kyle, adn Amber. I called Amber and apparently I had said I would pick her up, however, I don't remember saying that so that's why she wasn't there. Anyway, I went to pick her up and about 8:30 we started. The first act ran pretty smoothly. Second act was a little shakier. We ran through that one twice, once with Emma, once with Christina. Today was horrible for consentration, but we did work out some things that weren't running smoothly. There is this one part in Act 2 that we always stumble over, so we worked it out and it ran smoothly. Also, our bios were due today, though most of us didn't know that (I was gone for notes yesterday so I have an excuse). Anyway, throughout practice we wrote our bios. It was great fun doing so. Amber missed a cue because she was reading her bio to the cast not on stage, so James said, "Do I hear Bernice?" And suddenly there were frantic footsteps to get on stage. We all laughed a lot. I know it was bad to break character, but Amber even broke character (and she usually doesn't do that). So we started that over and it ran better. If you're wondering if Sil was there, she wasn't. She was parent/teacher confrencing it. So we were left alone to practice and I think that's why consentration wasn't there. Don't worry; it is usually there for the real practices....when the pressure is on.

At voice today, I hit a high C!!!!! I was pretty excited. It sounded pretty too! I win!

Mom and Dad are eating at a friend's house so Brooke and I are left to fend for oursleves. Well, that's it. Night.
