Little Mermaid-For Michelle
I'm terribly sorry I didn't comment on how the Little Mermaid went. Well.....
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We pulled through. Interestingly enough, some people thought that it was the best show Hilhi's ever done....they said that about OUAM too. Anywho, I definitely don't think Little Mermaid was the best show we've done but, oh well, they can think what they want. The first performance audience was awesome. Of course, they did have my dad there to perk them up and get them into the show before it started. The lights weren't that great, but James had never run the lights with us before, so it wasn't too bad. The evening audience was spectacular. They laughed and cheered at everything. It was really hard to keep a straight face. I do believe that at one point Christa, MJ, Arrio, and I broke character while on stage. But lucky for us, the lights were flashing so the audience couldn't see our faces. The last performance had the worst audience. They didn't laugh at anything. OK, that's an exaggeration. They laughed a bit. They weren't very responsive. But that's ok because the ending was the best this performance. Why? Christa kissed Josh once they were "married". What inspired this? Well, at the first performance, a kid asked Christa why they didn't kiss. This stimulated some thoughts and MJ, Christa, and I decided that she should kiss him. And also, she was feeling spontaneous. So the last performance Christa kissed Josh. Basically it was my favorite moment of the play ;)
That's about it. We have all three performances on tape. So when you come back, you can watch it and laugh at our ingenious performance. Michelle, I miss you. I hope you are having fun in Hawaii. Did you know that Heather was in Hawaii last weekend? If I had known, I could have told her and maybe you guys could have visited for a bit. Oh well. Anywho, have a wonderful summer. Stay warm, cus ya know, it can get pretty cold over there ;)

Hooray! I <3 Little Mermaid! I definitely want to watch it!! I am doing alright. I just finished the play I was in and now I am getting ready to start filming for the student movie. I wish I had known Heather would be here, I wish I could talk to her. I think about her sometimes. Anyway, thank you for the update, I am going on a trip this weekend with my bio class but maybe after that I will give you a call and we can catch up :)
