What a Blast
Today was a lot of fun. I woke up feeling very sore and not wanting to go to dance...just sleep. However, I dragged myself out of bed and took Brooke to Dance Team practice (for those of you who didn't know, I am dancing this week from 9-12 with Dance Team because I want to and Heather said it was ok). I'm glad I went. Not only did I have fun, but I was able to pull out some pretty nice triple pirouettes. The only draw back was that yesterday I over stretched my right leg, so it felt really weird to hold my leg in a bent position. It wasn't as bad as yesterday though...thanks to me not stretching basically at all or doing anything at dance in the evening. So I was able to do more today than last night. After Dance Team, Brooke and I went to Step Up with Aunty Bette. It wasn't as good as I had expected; however, it wasn't a horrible movie. The dancing was pretty good.
At 5:00, Brooke and I had a partnering class that was absolutely fabulous. I loved it. Alex Ballard taught the class. I was really good for the guys to be taught by a male teacher, as it was for the girls to get a guy's perspective on what we should be doing to make their job easier. Courtney and I were paired with Ermine for most of the class. It was a lot of fun. I did some double finger turns, which I know means nothing to most of you, but the last time I tried a double finger turn I failed miserably. The guys we have at the studio have gotten so much better since the beginning of this summer. It was definitely a good thing that we had the Pas class with Elizabeth for 6 weeks before this class. Having the Pas class before this one allowed all of us to become pretty comfortable with each other and have fun while working. I would love to have another class like this one. By the time we do, which I'm sure we will, the guys will be so much better. I can't wait to see how good everyone becomes when I come back for break.

Hey man, I'm bad at life, and calling. It's been a really rough day for me, but I did have full intentions of calling you back. We WILL hang out. Bye pretty.
