Happiness is Seeing Jennifer For the First Time in Months!

So pretty much I have had a wonderful day, which only got better when I saw Jennifer's beautiful face at play practice today. But let me start at the very beginning...a very good place to start...

I woke up, went downstairs, and was informed that we did indeed have school today. For the past couple of days, I have been asking Dad why he hasn't woken me up to tell me we don't have school, so today, he told me that he was going to wake me up to tell me that we did have school, but decided not to. I thought that was awefully kind, since I would have been woken up a lot earlier than usual. Anywho, Encore went ok. Then I went to Imago Theatre's production of Biglittlethings. It was really cute. Now I can say that I was attacked by a polar bear and lived to tell the tale. The whole production was very thoughtful, entertaining, and cute. However, we didn't get to see all of it. But that's ok. I liked the part I did see.

We got back to school before 3rd period had started and my day went on. At play practice, we ran through all of the songs. The real excitement came when Jennifer and Elizabeth came into rehearsal. It was really exciting to see Jennifer! I like that girl a lot! This is the time when I go..."Oh, I feel sick *cough, cough* I don't think I'll be able to go to school tomorrow". Unfortunately, I can't pull that one, but I'd certainly like to.

After practice, Encore sang at Dornbecker's. It was....fun? Well, I knew most of the songs we sang, so I guess it wasn't too bad. And knowing that the little kids enjoyed our songs and the parents were appreciative of us singing, I guess that made it all worth while. Don't get me wrong, I liked singing for the kids.....it's just that I wasn't always too thrilled with our sound and sometimes felt sorry for the listener. But I know the kids appreciated it.

On our way home, Ms. Butler taught my car a nifty new song. It's to the "Can-Can" tune. Kirsten, feel free to help if I screwed up anything.
Can cans go into the can can
Glass goes in the glass can
be sure that you peel the label if you're able

Ok, so I don't remember the rest...I knew I should have typed it up sooner. Well, take it away Kirsten!

Anywho, tomorrow I'm caroling with Encore downtown. This means missing all of school tomorrow. Good thing? Bad thing? I say both. Good=get out of school. Bad=missing english and physics for 2 days in a row. oh well. Hopefully we won't sound too horrible and I'll know what I'm singing.

Night all.

Can cans go into the can cans
glass goes in the glass cans
but you must remove the label if you're able
    seperate out all the plastic
    or they won't accept it
and oh boy won't you feel guilty then!
    Hoompha!
