Merry Christmas
Today was an over all good day. I slept in until 9:00, cleaned the house for a bit, went to Coffee Rush and saw Neil, Lenny, Charlotte, and Emily, shopped at Safeway and Fred Meyers for some last minute food items, saw the Nutcracker, ate dinner, opened presents, and went to church.
The Nutcracker was fun. I was sad to see it because it made me remember how I didn't get to do it this year. However, seeing Betsy on stage made me happy. Oh and seeing Gavin made me happy too. I regret not auditioning for OBT's Nutcracker. Why? Well, in the flower corps, there was a girl who was over weight...at least for a stereotyped ballerina. No...she was definitely over weight. So I thought to myself, "If she made it, then I could possibly have done so!" The main reason I didn't try out was because normally OBT looks for sticks...and I am definitely not a stick. So the moral of the story is.....try out even if you think you haven't got a chance cuz you'll never know until you try. I guess I am still scarred from my rejection into their summer camp, so I thought I'd get rejected from the one ballet I adore. I know that I'll get rejected a lot when the time comes to audition for things outside of high school, but I would really feel horrible if i couldn't even do The Nutcracker. Well enough about me. I loved watching Betsy dance. Even though she was on stage for about a minute and a half, I still enjoyed watching her. I know she'll go far in her ballet career. I am so glad I got to be apart of her start.
Well, I am going to get some shut eye. Everyone have a wonderful Christmas.
