Chicago Day 1

Today started out horribly. I was woken up by Dad insisting that we wake up to recieve our free breakfast. We woke up at 9:45, thinking the breakfast ended at 10:00. In actuality, it ended at 10:30, so we really hurried for nothing. Then at breakfast, I saw a guy who looked almost exactly like our family friend who died a few days ago in the plane crash. It waqs really weird. I wanted to ask him what his name was to make sure it wasn't our friend. Then as I was eating breakfast, my french toast spilled onto my lap. So not only was I tired and cranky, but I was now sticky. I went upstairs to change but the cleaning lady was in the room. After she was done, Brooke, Mom, and I changed into our swimsuits and went swimming. We swam for about 30 minutes. The water wasn't too bad, but I was still in a bad mood. We went upstairs and Mom started to call colleges for touring for tomorrow and when we visit Elizabeth. She also called Elizabeth but she didn't answer. After Mom got the colleges set up she went somewhere and her phone rang. I answered, still in a fairly bad mood, and who should it be but...Elizabeth! Instantly my day got betterw. I was very excited to hear her voice. We talked for about 10 minutes, because she had practice somemore. We arfe going to visit her on July 11 about 12:00 and spend the night in Columbus. I can't wait! Then we went to lunch at a Chinese buffet. The fire alarm went off just as we were leaving. No fire but it was kind of weird that it just went off. After lunch we went shopping at Target for wedding stuff. By the time we got home, it was time to get ready for dinner and an Italian resaurant with my cousins. On the way there, we rode in a van, while the parents rode in the limo. After the dinner, which was delicious, the kids rode in the limo to the Buckingham Fountain. It was pretty neat. Then we rode to the hotel in the limo. It was great. We had a limo because my aunt became the head hauncho of a part of Creative Memories. So today went from horrible to awesome...pretty much thanks to Elizabeth.

The colleges I'm visiting tomorrow are Columbia and Northwestern. Columbia is at 11:00 and Northwestern at 3:00. I'm kind of scared because I don't really have any questions to ask...yet. I don't really know what to ask either. On a goos note, I get to watch a dance class tomorrow, so I can decide if I like it or not. I'd rather take the class, but that's ok.

Well, I should get to bed now. Goodnight!

Hey girl! Even if you weren't asking for question suggestions, I've got them for ya! You should ask about admissions requirements, general attitude of the campus, like, what the students like about it and what they dislike. If there are clubs, sports, dancing, theater, how hard classes are, class sizes, housing options, religious facilities like where there are places to worship, and most importantly, food, like where to get it, if its good, meal plans, etc. Love ya
