Busy Day

Play practice ran smoother than yesterday, though I'm not confident that it was better. We still skipped some lines, though the lines weren't as crucial to the plot as yesterday. Nathan and I saved the day many times this practice. It was irritating when people forgot their lines and we had to cover for them. It's the same lines that people keep forgetting too. On a lighter note....Josh, Nathan, and I are now Charlie's Angels and came up with poses while waiting to go on stage. Also, Josh is now Nathan and I am Elizabeth because we think they are really cool people and want to be just like them. This makes us family which is even better. Somehow we came to us being a family a while ago...I think it was a few weeks into play practices. We just decided that we are family, so now we constantly refer to each other as family. It's a fun game.

In drama we finished the Rennaisance Faire. Nathan sang an awesome song. It was hilarious. After the performers preformed, we had about 40 mintues to eat and do nothing. Josh, Emma, Jes, Nathan, James, and I played an intense game of Egyptian Rat. It ended up between me an Nathan for the win. I won. It was in this game, that we discovered that Nathan and I pretty much rock at this game. We decided, while we were geting food and the others were playing another game of Egyptain Rat, that we need to play against each other sometime....one on one....every slap we can think of to make it as confusing as possible. After a great meal, we headed back into the theatre to slap into the game the others were still playing. Nathan slapped in first, followed closely after by me. It narrowed down to Josh, Nathan, and me playing. Then Nathan became cardless. Josh had the most cards when the bell rang, so he counted that as a win. He didn't do a little dance like he said he would if he beat me. So I guess I'll have to see that tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow, we are having an unscheduled rehearsal at 8 AM. Why? We don't want to stink horribly. I don't thikn we'll stink horrib;y anyway, but we just won't get better. Why so early? Sil will be there because of parent/ teacher confrences so we can use the theatre.

I sang with Chorale tonight at Tualitan High School for the Oregon Symphonic Band concert. There is another one in Vancouver. I had only seen the music once before today and Mom and I were late because of play practice. However, I didn't sing too badly. I was actually able to hit the high B flat at the end of the ending song. That was nice.

Well, I should get some sleep. Night.

Yay for high notes. Also, I like Josh and Nathan, and Elizabeth. Oh yeah, and you, too, I guess... ;)

I hope your play turns out well, even with some people who can't get it together. I'm sure you and Nathan will be able so save the day, you Angels, you!
