Splits of Death

I fear I shall never get my splits. No matter how much I stretch, I still can't do them. I mean, for about a month now we have sat in our splits for Dance Team, the next day we stretch like crazy in jazz, and on Thursday I have another jazz class where we stretch our splits. You'd think they'd come to me. The only real reason I am so worried is because if I want a chance for All-State, I have to have both right and left leg splits. I can fake it pretty well. And if it's a matter of sliding into them for a little bit, no problem. It's just holding them forever and all eternity. I wish they could see if you were a good dancer without judging you on your flexibility. Yes flexibility has a lot to do with dance, but in dances people don't sit in their splits the whole time. They sometimes show glimpses of flexibility, but you can dance just as well with not being able to split. I guess I'll just have to do some hard core stretching every night. Gross.

Dad got a treadmill from Joe last night. It's pretty nifty. I love treadmill.

Tomorrow is the choir concert. I'm so glad I get to do something.

Play practice was interesting. I totally stunk up the beginning. It's memorizing places. I'm reading a list to someone of who they pick up where and when. I should probably write it out so I don't do horribly tomorrow. I think I will. I know that's technically cheating, but I really don't want ot suck tomorrow. Poor Kyle was yelled at the most today. We skipped a whole section because Christina fed us the wrong line. So we had to do a little improving as to who said what line. Then we somehow were able to fit in the section we skipped and continued fomr where we left off of the other section. How we pulled that off, I don't know, but we did. I hope tomorrow will go better.

Tomorrow is the Renaissance Faire. I'm excited.

I got 4 hours of sleep last night. I was doing English homework. Yay for procrastination.

That's it. Night.

I have faith in you! Also, pride yourself on the fact that your splits will always be better than mine. :)
