Mondays = Late Days
Mondays are always hard. I get up at 6:30, get to school by 7:20, stay there studying until 3:30, then have danced team in the Commons unitl usually 6:30, then go to play practice (set building recently) and then go to Chorale until 9:30. I dislike not bing home for so many hours! Choralwe didn't get over until 10:00 tonight. Then I came home and Brooke was watching a Stargate episode. We all sat down and watched a total of 2 episodes and now I am going to do my homework....well as soon as I am done typing.
This afternoon, we had a bomb scare. Apparently a bomb was found in the boys bathroom in the LA building. All I know is that we spent about and hour and fifteen minutes standing around. IO was irritated that I didn't bring my backpack along so that i could do my homework. It would have helped. But oh well.
Dance team was interesting. Heather had us do really slow sit-ups and The Plank. The we sat in our splits for a while. The we learned a dance. Yeah, I'm pretty sore now. Tomorrow, I probably won't be able to move.
Play practice was ok....not great, but ok. I only heard about it, since I was at DT. However, Christina and I went to help build the set after DT. Sil had us put wheels on on of the bookcases. After we did so, she had us pick leaves off of a board. We both think she'd rather have the boys do the electric screw driver work. Though I must say Christina and I did pretty well...it's just that we weren't as fast the boys. But what can you expect from Christina, who thought that Sil wanted us to use hammers, and me, who had only learned how to use an electric screw driver this summer from Dad....I didn't learn how to work it, just how to use it. Anyay, the bookcase is movable, so we did our job.
I left for Chorale about an hour after DT got out. Chorale was fun. I sang pretty well today. I sight read one song without any problems....of course it was in English so that helped. I hate sight reading things in Latin, where I am supposed to know how to pronounce every word and sight read at the same time. Yeah, I thikn that happened maybe twice. I'm more of a "learn the notes and then the words" girl.
On Thursday and Sunday, some of Chorale is singing with the Oregon Symphonic Band. I have free tickets if you want to come. On Thursday it's at Tualitan High School and 7:30 (I think). As for Sunday, well I don't really know. Yes, I'm a great sourse of knowledge.
I forgot to mention that yesterday at Red Robins, the cast decided to publicly humiliate me by telling them it was my birthday. A little late I know, but it was a nice thought. SO I was sung to by the Red Robin's crew and got free ice creama and 2 balloons.
Well, I should stop procrastinating and do my homework. Au revoir!
