Monday, Monday

I woke up to the sound of my dog barking loudly. That was not pleasant. After yelling at her to stop barking, I went back to sleep, only to wake up 15 minutes later than I usually do. School was fine. We had "Get a Life" something or other, where the Oregon colleges come and present. I went to financial Aid and Private College Apps. The I went to Dr. Hellman's room. Classes commenced as usual. The school day finished and I went to the theatre, for once we didn't have dance team. There, I, along with others, practiced for auditions. After that, we had pick up play practice so that we won't suck on Wednesday. Yeah, I'm still a little nervous for this play, mainly for only one character and yay for them showing up. The practice wasn't a total failure, however, if Sil had been watching, she would have had our heads...mainly the heads of certain people, not mine I'll have you know. The practice wasn't very concentrated and people kept breaking chracter. My favorite moment though was when at the end Nathan grabbed Charlotte (who was reading for Emma/Christina) and dipped her right before Maia comes in and they think it's Helsa...you kind of need to see the play in order to know what I'm talking about. But in any case, no one was expecting Nathan to do that and since he was supposed to be in love with that character it seemed only fitting, especially since tehy are supposed to almost kiss and then Maia comes barging in. It was awesome.

After practice, I came home and wasn't too successful on my homework, however, I did transcribe my notes onto paper from Black Boy so I'm done with Chapter 2 notes. Now I have to do Ch. 3....I've read most of it....I just have to finish reading and highlighting and what not and I'll probably put the notes on paper in the morning.

Tomorrow is the first musical audition date. Sil has to go to Jury Duty and if she has to actually serve and won't get back in time ofr auditions, she's going to call me and I'll tape them for her. I kind of hope she doesn't make it in time so that I can sit in on the auditions. But if she does make it, then I'll be able to go to dance. We'll see how that goes.

Well, I should get to finishing Black Boy. I'm really enjoying it.
