Homecoming Weekend

Well I just got back from our homecoming football game. We lost, but we were playing against Southridge and didn't expect to win anyway. However, we did score a touchdown in the last quarter. Yessenia and Salvador were crowned Queen and King.

I went to my first ever homecoming parade. I haven't been to one because I believe I've always had dance before the game. In any case, I had a great time. The parade passed David abnd me 3 times (it passed once, then we ran to meet it again, and then we ran to Hare Field, where it passed us again). I got a lot of running in and probably put all of the calories I burned right back on with all of the candy I got. I had fun.

This weekend involves doing homework, going to Kirsten's for a sleepover, and an early birthday dinner from the Sheely's. I'm pretty excited, except for the homework part.

I very excited for Tuesday. Why? I'll be turning the big one eight! Ahhh!!!! I can't believe I'll be 18 in a few short days. I'm not excited however because Sil is giving me the best virthday present ever....Act 2 has to be memorized, meaning the whole play is to be memorized by then. Thanks Sil!

Some of you may be wondering why the dance isn't on my list of activities this weekend...that's because I'm not going. Before you all yell at me, I'll tell you why. The main reason : I hate school dances. I don't dance like that and I feel completely stupid attempting to do so. I know my frriends don't care, but I really just don't enjoy school dances. Don't worry though, I'm going to Prom. I went to Homecoming last year and didnt' really enjoy the dance so much. I enjoyed dinner more. I figure one dance besides Prom is good enough for me. My other reasons for not going are: I don't have a group and I don't have a dress. I could find both of those things, but I really just don't want to go. So instead, I'm going to get my homework done and party at Kirsten's.
