It was the Butler in the Parlor with the Knife

Well, contrary to what the title says, I now know who was killed, when he/she was killed, where he/she was killed, who killed him/her, and with what. And for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I've just finished reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. By just reading, I mean while in the car a couple of hours ago.

I don't want to say much, in case anyone of my family decides to visit here any time soon (which I doubt but I want to be safe). I must say, however, that I liked this book. It provided humor and suspence. I guess the books usually do that, but I think this is my favorite. I could be wrong though because the third one was my favorite for a long time. I guess the 6th and 3rd have tied for 1st.

I have decided that I am both a good and bad actress. Now before anyone can prove me wrong (about either being good or bad), I'd like to tell you why. I have a little problem of smiling when something exciting is about to happen. Brooke notices, since she usually sits in back with me, so she knows when something good is about to happen. Also, when anyone (usually Brooke) makes a guess as to what is going to happen next, or make an acusation, I usually can't help but smile. The thing is, Brooke gets so worked up that it's comical. I can't help but laugh a bit. She then takeds this as a she's right because I'm smiling thing. Unfortunately, Brooke's guesses are usually correct, so she know thinks whenever I smile her guess is correct. Now I try to smile whenever anyone guesses anything, whether right or wrong as to throw her off. Oh well. I guess I'll have to work on that.

I find, as I'm reading to my family, that certain things in the book make more snese, now that I know the outcome. Also, things that were made to be funny origionally seem twice as humorous (or ironic) as they did now knowing the outcome. Unfortuanetly I have to hide my "Oh! I get it", for fear Brooke might think she has guessed correctly yet again. But I really wish I could just tell them everything. I wish I could just skip to the end. But I know that would be robbing them of the wonderful story. I so much want to talk to them about the outcome, but I have to wait until I fifnish reading to them. Unfortunately, I don't know if my voice will hold out. It already sounded pretty hoarse after a couple hours of reading. Well, I'll muddle through.

We added on to our sit-up tonight. By teh end of this trip, Mom and Dad will be able to do teh sit-ups we do in jazz, though not with the same effort we put in. That's about it really.

Today we went to the beach, swam a bit, tehn droce a lot. Tomorrow we head for New Orleans. I'm excited. I've never been there. Good night!
