I'm Back...for 2 days

Back from Montana. I had a great time with my cousins. We played a game called Telepictionary. It was sooo much fun. I am definitely going to play it with my friends here and back at Otterbein. Yesterday, it snowed in BIllings. When we arrived there was no snow, so this was pretty cool. And the roads weren't too bad on the way home either. We figured it took us about 16 hours driving both ways. We could have come home faster, but Dad insisted on stopping to eat dinner at a sit-down restaurant...aka Denny's.

Brooke and I are getting at least 10 inches cut tomorrow. I'm excited! My hair is going to be short! Hasn't been in quite some time.

Happy Birthday to Elizabeth! Today (the 30th) she is 21! Wow. She's old :)

I hope to see many people in the 2 days I have left. We'll see what happens.

Going Away

Well, we're leaving for Montana today. I won't be back until late Friday night.

For Christmas, I got new, really soft PJ's. They feel so good! I also got the complete first season of I Dream of Jeannie. I can't wait to watch it. Of course there were more things I received, but I won't list everything. I am really excited to watch some of the movies we got. And I was given boots!!! I've wanted a pair of boots for a while. They're really cool.

I'm looking forward for the time with the cousins. I'm also looking forward to being back here. Have fun in Oregon without me. Do lots of fun things. I'll see you in 4 days.

The Best Birthday/Christmas Present Ever

Thanks to Ryan, Kirsten, and Nathan, my 19th birthday wasn't so bad after all. Today, they made a tape that is somewhat hard to describe in order to give it its full credit. I'm just going to say that you'd have to know a lot of the theatre inside jokes to truly appreciate this masterpiece. It is hilarious. On top of this amazing video, I was treated with coming home to a house full of decorations. How was this possible? Nathan took me out to dinner while Kirsten and Ryan partied up my house. I guess these guiys had always known they were going to make me a video, but they didn't know when they were going to get it done. So it is my Birthday/Christmas present. Oh man was it a good day. Thank you, Ryan, Nathan, and Kirsten.

Ho Hum

I wish I wouldn't get so upset over silly little things. I wish...but what's the use of wishing? The only way anything is going to change is if I do so. Blah. I hate change, but I hate getting upset over dumb little unthoughtout things that others do. I hate getting upset over trips I don't really want to go on, but I know I have to in order to not feel guilty. I hate getting upset over other people being upset. I hate...gosh, here I go ranting over something else. I quit.

I went to see Betsy in Nutcracker. She did marvelous, as usual. I love watching her dance.

So, I realized today that I only have 4 days left here. Friday, Saturday and the next Saturday and Sunday. That sucks a lot. Why so few days? Because Sunday and Monday are Christmas times and should be spent with family doing family things (and I'd feel guilty visiting unless our families were doing something together), Tuesday through Friday I'm traveling with family to Montana to visit reletives, and Monday I leave back to Ohio at 11:45 AM. I don't really want to go back. I need more time here. You know, I think this next quarter will start off harder than last quarter did.

Brooke and I are planning on getting our hair cut before I leave. We're going to cut at least 10 inches off and give those inches to Locks of Love. So my hair is going to be pretty darn short when those 10 inches come off. I'm kind of looking forward to it. I know though that I'm going to miss my long hair a lot. But I'm excited to give my hair away and do something useful with it.

Sometimes You Look Back and Wonder When Your Sister Grew Up

Lunch with Charlotte and Scott was fun. I'm so glad I got to see them before Charlotte flies off to New Orleans for 9 days.

On my walk with Sophi today, we went into a neighborhood filled with cats. They were everywhere. Note to self: don't go back into that neighborhood.

I can't beleive Brooke is in high school. It was so weird going ot the basketball game and sitting with the adults and watching her dance. I had to pay to get in (bummer!)...and not only just pay, but as an adult no less. So yes, I watched my sister dance, but I had to pay the adult price. Lame. They should either let alumni in for free or go back to when they let family members of Hillsboro School District workers in for free as well as the workers themselves. On a good note, the dnace team danced wonderfully. And Brooke says she can't do hip-hop....ha!

Tomorrow I'm going to watch Brooke compete in the Woodburn Competition. You should come too! 2:00.

Life

Life...why must you be so complicated? Gah.

Part of me thinks that I would be happier had I taken a year off.

Walking with Sophi=Good.

Number 3 (in respinse to my previous post)

I am in the Nutcracker. I am the Mother Angel. You should all come see me!

My foot is doing better...I think. Well, it's not hurting in any case.

Lots of Love.
