This Weekend

Let's start with Friday shall we? Friday......I had a nive talk with Sil during zero period because all the non-IBers were taking their finals, so the IBers had nothing to do. It was defintitely a fun talk. Then came 1st period. Pretty boring. I hated looking for poems. Blah, blah, blah. 2nd period Alison and I were supposed to go to French and visit Madame, but Dr. Hellman talked too much, so we'll wait 'til next Friday to go to the cafe. Lunch was good times 'o plenty....as usual. Then came 3rd period. I was able to make-up a dance on the spot. It was quite exciting...if I do say so myself. And the dance wasn't half bad either. 4th period we continued to watch "A Streetcar Named Desire". It's a pretty good movie. I like it. After that, I went to get ice cream with Nathan...yes, before voice lessons. Why'd I do it? Because Dad told me the secret to happiness...........eat an apple after you eat any dairy product and the phlegm won't come. Don't believe me? Try it yourself. In any case, it worked for me. Then I went to voice. It went well. However, we're cutting out a part of 14G...the magic flute part. Why? Because Crystal can't sing that high consistanly so we're not going to chance me sounding bad...and I'm fine with that. Michelle, Karen said that you sounded soo good. She didn't know you could hit those notes. She said you have matured soo much since you left her. In Crystal terms....you rock. But we already knew that didn't we. Then I raced to a dance thing for an auction at JB Thomas. That was...fun? Not really. Nobody really watched (beside the usual parents) and numerous amounts of little kids almost got trampled because their parents weren't paying close enough attention to them. Anywho....that was my Friday.

I know, I know.....finally we get to Saturday and the big event. I was going to go to tap in the morning, but I didn't want to get sweaty and have to take another shower (I had taken one the previous night), so I didn't tap and instead went to a Mothers and Others Brunch at church. It was fun. Then we went to see if I could get my appiontment for my nails changed to an earlier time. It was possible, so I went early. While having my pedicure, I was fortunate enough to have a message chair. My back felt good after my pedicure. I also got my nails done...so I have fake nails now. As annoying as they are when typing...they'll be good for growing my real nails...now they won't be bitten off when I'm stressed or bored. Anywho...I got home and we Aunty Bette did my hair and Eileen (Courtney's mom) did my make-up. Then, once I was dressed all fancy like, we headed for Rood Bridge Park for pictures. Good times at Rood Bridge. After lots of pitcure taking, Charlotte, Josh, Nathan, and I headed to the Macaroni Grill for dinner. Once there, we met our cool waiter Julio, who wrote his name in cursive and up-side-down....it looked much better than all of us writing in cursive right side up. The food was great and the company was awesome. I'm so glad I went with those 3 :) After about 45 minutes, we got our food. Then we left to go to Prom 2006. Mom and Dad did a nifty parking job that they let us have. They had parked right infront of the dance place and it was free. Go Mom and Dad! And thanks for letting us use it! Once inside..or should I say outside? Anyway, we kind of danced, but since none of us are big fans of school dances, we kind of stood and talked more than danced. That is, until the end. Then Christa and I danced together, she had saved me a dance. That was fun. After Prom, we went to Jennifer's house and watched a few Friends episodes. That was good times. Overall, Prom wasn't too bad. I definitely liked the pre-Prom and post-Prom events better than Prom itself, but I still had fun at Prom too.

This leaves us with today...Mother's Day. Brooke woke us up at 9:00 to say it was time to go to church. Well, Mom and I were both extrememly tired (for we had been up til 4:00), but we went anyway. Then we came home and got ready for a hike. We went to...I forget what it's called, but it's between the dance studio and my house...on Baseline. North something. Anywho, it was fun. We took Sophi as well. She liked coming with us. Then I did some Engilsh. Then visited the wonderful Charlotte Smith at Coffee Rush. And then worked on more English. I really am not very creative...and that's fine.

Oh...fun stuff. I recieved a bottle of perfume in the mail from a scholarship organization. I don't think I got the scholarship becuase it didn't say I had it, but on the other hand it dind't say I didn't have it....but I think the perfume was a consolation prize thing. So yeah...I now have a free bottle of pretty good smelling perfume.

I think that's it besides.......it's really, REALLY warm in my room. I don't like it. I guess I'll have to live though...won't I.
