I Made $20 Today!
Yes ladies and gentlemen it happened. It is possible. Crystal can make money off of physical labour from people other than her family. Hooray!
After the NCD dance recital, Nathan, James, Kirsten and I took down lights and each made $20. It was quite exciting. However, the performance itself was not so. I say this because I didn't actually get to see the performance. Instead, I sat around near the "big girls'" dressing room and told them to be quiet about every 10 seconds. You'd think since they were the "big girls'" they would know when to be quiet. Wrong. I think the little kids were more behaved than the big kids. Of course, I do have to say that the problem children were the pre-teens and teens who just turned to a teen. The really older girls were not the problem, especially since most of them had numerous dances to do. Other than that, I had a good time.
With the $20 I made, Nathan, Kirsten, and I went to Dutch Brothers and visited Devin. Here I had an interesting smoothie. Instead of a strawberry banana smoothie, like I had ordered, Deving accidentally grabbed the vanilla so it turned into a strawberry vanilla smoothie. It was half bad really. I kind of liked it. Granted, I would have preferred the strawberry banana, but the strawberry vanilla was a nice change.
I don't like it when life throws little changers at me. I mean, it seems thatg one thing will happen one way and then in the next few seconds, something else comes along and takes presidence over the previous. I know that God always has a plan and that things happen for a reason, but I still could use with less curve balls. All of these just make me more stressed. My life shouldn't be stressed right now. I should be taking it easy. Oh well. I'll just have to deal with these balls and hope that God will throw me a regular one...one that I can see its path so that I can hit it.
In other news...after much tough competition, Christa adn I beat out all the rest of the singers for graduation. We were chosen to sing at graduation. Hooray!
