Why Does Ever Day Seem to Go Downhill?
Lately, my days have started out fine, but then slowly have gone in the downward direction. Today is definitely one of those days.
Well...I take that back because I didn't wake up to a very wonderful morning. It was ok, but it wasn't good. I woke up froma not so happy dream and remembering that I hadn't asked Dad to make a Little Mermaid CD, so he did that before I picked up Nathan. Also, we had a few more graduation things to do. So by the time I got to Nathan's house, we had missed our walk slot. After that, the day went pretty well....until Musical Theatre.
It was our first dress rehearsal. Ermine and I are doing a Pas during "Part of Your World". Even though I had taught him on Friday and today during lunch, he still didn't know what he was doing. Granted, I did teach him pretty quick, but the Pas is only like 30 seconds long. And we did work on it a lot during lunch. So I was pretty irritated that the Pas looked like crap because he didn't remember what came next. I do have to say though that I do need to work on being more patient with people too. I need to work on not getting irritated that some people don't catch on as fast as I'd like them to. So, Ermine, I'm not that irritated with you. It's just that a lot of things have not gone like I had hoped they would so I get irritated more quickly and a lot easier. Anywho...then people didn't realize they didn't have enough time to change in the dressing room, so they were late coming on for some lines. During 4th, I had hoped to go to the library to finish the bibliographies for my English project. But no...instead I had to go to Minter Bridge to watch my fan dance and make it cleaner. The only good part about this was that they had music and fans so my group actually had something to do instead of basically nothing, which has been the last few times I've been over. And have I mentioned that I didn't volunteer myself to create this dance? Well if I haven't, I have now. I was volunteered by my class to create the fan dance. I had no say. I guess the moral of the story is don't be gone when things are being decided.
Anywho...after Minter Bridge, things looked up. Nathan and I went to Dairy Queen to get some ice cream. Then I went to Christa's to finish the bibliographies. Then it was off to Dr. Hellman's for some IB physics madness. It was definitely a blast at the Hellman's residence. We ate hot dogs and hamburgers, among other delicious items, played ultimate frizbee, and sang songs. It was glorious. After that, I went to Nathan's for a bit.
After this was when the day went downhill again. I was pulled over for the first time. The tags on my car were expired by 7 months. When he asked for my registration and license, I couldn't find my registration. I called home and Dad insisted it was there. However, it wasn't. Instead I showed him the insurance card (the only thing I could find). This too was expired. So not only was I charged for expired tags, but I was also charged for an expired insurance card. This event caused me to become hysterical for many reasons. Mainly because I was pulled over and fined for somethign that wasn't my fault but was solely because I was driving. This has happened to me before as well (aka when I was driving the suburban, with Dad in the car, and it ran out fo gas because he didn't tell me it was out so I decided to drive it for practice). Also, this was the first time I was pulled over. And I am probably one of the last people you would think would be pulled over. So yeah. Basically, today was wonderful for about 5 hours. The other 19 hours weren't so fun.
Well...enough about how my day went. Tomorrow is voice lessons and the other half of dress rehearsal for Little Mermaid. It'll be a party.
Sleep well. I know tomorrow will be better.
